Wednesday

We all had a busy day today. We were learning new letters, writing the number '7', cutting out shapes, listening to stories, working on the smart board, writing and lots more. Some of us even had time to play with the train track.

We had a super show and tell today. Innes brought in some cakes and he gave everybody one. They were yum.

Fun World Fun

We all had super time today at Fun World. Shirley played some games with the children before splitting them into two groups to take part in some fun challenges. They were sliding down the big, blue slide and the curly slide, they were were going up the climbing wall, bouncing on the bouncy castle and zooming down the sea world slide too. We had a snack of fruit and juice which was greatly appreciated. More pictures of our time will be posted soon when we receive the photos taken by the staff.

Well done to Jamie who is pupil of the week in P1. He has been reading exceptionally well.

trips

This is to give you prior warning of a change to our trip day during the week of 21st September. We will be going out of school on Wednesday 23rd as on Thursday 24th the children need to wear their formal uniform since the Telegraph is coming to photograph the new P1.

Monday

On Monday we will be going to Fun World for an extra Fun Fit session which is to take the place of our usual gym session. It is part of a health and exercise promotion and the Greenock Telegraph will be coming to photograph us. Trip uniform as normal.

What do we look like?

For topic today we were looking at ourselves and how we could describe what we look like. We talked about length and colour of hair and colour of eyes. We played a great matching game together and then in smaller groups later on.
